Pizza Rocker Knife
A mezzaluna-style rocker blade: a bold, range-defining pizza tool for retail-ready collections.
Low MOQ from 100 units
Pizza Tools · Wholesale & private label
Build a pizza-tool range around the whole task: launching the pizza into the oven, turning it as it bakes, then cutting and serving. KOVA Tough helps brands, retailers and distributors brief peels, turning peels, mezzaluna rocker knives and wheel cutters, from the first sample to branded packaging.
At a glance

Compare blade size against the oven opening, edge taper and handle joint.

Compare disc size, perforation pattern and heat at the hand.

Compare wheel movement, grip clearance and control along the cut.

Compare blade span, rocking clearance and storage protection.
Range selection
Choose a format against a defined pizza size, work surface and sales channel. A compact retail accessory and a larger portioning tool can serve different briefs; neither format is the universal best choice.

| Format | Buying decision | Specify before quoting |
|---|---|---|
| Launch peel | A wide peel slides under the dough and carries it into the oven. Match the blade to the oven opening and pizza size. | Blade size and material, leading-edge taper, handle length and a fixed or detachable joint. |
| Turning peel | A small perforated disc rotates the pizza inside a hot oven without lifting it out. | Disc diameter, perforation pattern, handle length and heat insulation at the grip. |
| Wheel cutter | A rotating wheel follows the cut. Review the handle position and clearance above the food. | Wheel diameter, handle length, wheel attachment and a pack that shields the cutting edge. |
| Rocker knife (mezzaluna) | A curved mezzaluna blade works with a rocking motion. Match the span and hand position to the intended pizza and board. | Blade length and curve, grip clearance, storage footprint and edge-cover requirements. |
| Coordinated range | Offer customers a choice of cutting motion under one branding and packaging theme. | Separate quantities and sample references for each format; identify any proposed bundle contents. |

Sample review
Record the sample reference, intended use and acceptance criteria so everyone reviews the same configuration.
Review wheel rotation and sideways play, or the rocker curve and contact with the chosen board. Use the same intended pizza size and cutting task when comparing samples.
Check handle comfort, hand clearance and the way the blade or wheel is attached. Record acceptable movement and finish at the joint in the sample comments.
Request the material of each component, including the blade, handle and any coating. A steel appearance alone does not establish the grade or care instructions.
Review the cover, sleeve or pack insert with the actual tool. Check that the cutting edge stays protected during handling and that the tool can be removed as intended.
Customisation & ordering
For a pizza-night retail concept, you might request a wheel cutter and rocker knife with a shared logo and carton style. Treat this as a proposed assortment: confirm each item, packaging component and quantity separately. Describe the logo location and whether the pack is for shelf display, gifting or parcel delivery.
Low MOQ from 100 units. Ask which minimum applies to each product, finish, decoration and packaging combination. A mixed range does not automatically share one minimum; sample costs, pricing and production timing are confirmed in the quotation.
Choose a customisation routeBuyer questions
Yes—include both in your enquiry with separate quantities and a common artwork or finish reference. Ask the quotation to distinguish the two tools, individual packaging and any outer gift pack. Availability and the final combination are confirmed during review. Plan your packaging brief.
For a wheel cutter, start with wheel diameter, handle length and hand clearance. For a rocker, include blade span, curvature and grip position. Add the intended pizza and board sizes so the sample can be assessed in context.
Approve the tool configuration, cutting-edge protection, logo position and packaged sample together. Record the sample reference and any changes so the quotation and artwork relate to the same version. Use the sample-approval guide.
